The word Boujee comes from the French “bourgeois,” meaning something refined, elegant, and beautifully made.
Over time, it found its way into English as boujee — a word that still carries a sense
of appreciation for beauty, comfort, and things made with care.
In French, bougie also means “candle,” and that play on words became the spark behind Boujee Life — a
blend of refinement and warmth, design and ritual.
Boujee Life started with a simple idea: to create things that feel good to live with.
I wanted to make pieces that add warmth and calm to everyday spaces, objects that bring comfort
when you walk into a room or light a flame at the end of a long day.
The inspiration comes from home, from the textures, scents, and rituals of the Middle East, and from a love of design that feels modern yet rooted in culture.
Each candle carries that balance: raw and refined, minimal but full of life.
